The triumph of faith

If I asked you what word is used most in Hebrews 11 you would no
doubt say the word 'faith'. It is actually used 24 times in this chapter. The
bible tells us that under the old covenant it was faith by which the great
saints of old were justified in God's sight. Through this they fulfilled
their destiny. However, if your faith does not determine your destiny and
your blessings, your fears and doubts certainly will. The word “fear” is
more devastating than most of us will ever come to understand. Its effect is
felt years after it had finished its destructive work in our lives and its
effect last very long.

There is no faith without a challenge, no success without a
substantial amount of work, and no crown without a cross. Any faith with
honest doubt has never been tested. Wrestling with questions and embracing
and facing each doubt refines and develops our faith. But faith tested only
by reason is bound to falter. Faith must be tested not only by honest
questing and life's experience but by what God's Word says too. "For the
heart of man is utterly deceitful" and without the knowledge of God's Word
pulsating in our minds and hearts our rationale will be flawed. The Bible
says..." Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I sin not against thee"....and
"

Whatever the Lord has called you to be will be achieved, and all
that God gave to you will come to you and that which you have lost will be
recovered, through working in faith and in harmony with the leading of His
Holy Spirit.

Faith at any level is never without an inherent fear or a confusing
doubt but when your determination and perseverence and desire to fulfill
every word and promise of God for your life is activated, you will instantly
remember that God had given you through the Holy Spirit, all the boldness you
need to confront that fear. Then all the uncertainties that seeks to destroy
your faith and hinder your blessings will disappear. “For God did not give
us a spirit of timidity, of cowardice, of a craven and cringing and fawning
fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of calm and sound
mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

God bless you all
