The Scriptures reveal God first as Creator. So when Genesis references humans as God's image-bearers, made in the imago dei, the bible is telling us that to reflect God's image is to create, to be a workman, to live as one who finds a proverbial plow and passionately puts his or her hands to it.

God has given us the gift of work and the means to create for his glory. How important it is to think well about what it actually means to be creative and to create in all of life's endeavors, whether you're an artist, a poet, an accountant, or a teacher.
