Why you and I are on this journey

Why you and I are on this journey…

therefore_goMy friend said, ‘too many Christians have their bags packed and are just waiting for Jesus to come.’
I know exactly what she means! Sometimes we give up on having any hope for this world and simply adopt a waiting stance. Yet, Jesus said the very opposite: He is waiting for us!
Jesus came with the mission of bringing His Kingdom to earth. His Kingdom redeems and restores lives through the power of His Spirit. For 2,000 years He has been actively and successfully invading the nooks and crannies of this world, not through political power or military might, but by the quiet and often unseen work of transforming people’s lives. His leaven has been at work and continues to do so as it makes its way through our own neighborhoods as well as some of the most desperate places on earth. How? Through you and me!
The story, below, of Martin’s life-change and healing through the power of the Gospel reminds us that God is not finished. There are so many Martins in rural Africa, throughout the world, and even in our own places whom God longs to see transformed. We know for a fact that HE is the one waiting for us to take His Kingdom message and power to every person because He does not want ‘even one’ to miss out. (2 Peter 3:9 & Matt 24:14). “Therefore go…”
So, indeed, you and I are on this journey together because we sense the desire and urgency of God that all might know Him!

Celebrate Martin’s healing from HIV/AIDS

MartinMartin, of Uganda, refused to listen to his friend share the Gospel with him until he found himself deathly ill. Despite having HIV/AIDS he was not willing to give up his immoral lifestyle. In the middle of one night he became so sick that he literally crawled to his friend’s house and asked for prayer. After receiving Christ he was physically healed and has now started two house churches.
Your friendship and partnership are bringing the Kingdom to earth!

Blessings and Love,
Roger & Brooks
P.S. Here is a video presentation on disciplemaking movements which is a key aspect of the work we are doing. Enjoy!
